My old mount would loosen all the time - and my phone would constantly fall - most of them time during a critical point when trying navigate to an unknown location. Not really safe trying to drive while searching for the fallen phone! I really like this concept and it was super simple to install. Honestly… just go and splurge on this! I kept buying 10-15$ mounts bc I’m cheap and they kept coming unglued off the dash bc of how heavy the pro max is. Finally the other day I decided to just go ahead and get this and omg ! I’m never going back! This thing is SUPER strong like legit I struggle a little bit to detach my phone lol not gonna lie, but that’s exactly what I wanted! I bought like 10 different ones and this is the one I like the most. I couldn’t find one that I didn’t have to loosen the back every time I wanted to watch a video or FaceTime upright. The magnet is pretty strong (I have a iPhone 12Pro Max). The installation is super easy and the vent clamp is so sturdy. I don’t have to loosen anything anymore, I set my phone to any angle I want it to be.

I have tried two other magnetic phone holders and was very disappointed in both as they simply did not hold my phone in place. The Sunshade magnetic phone holder is awesome. The surface is larger, the magnets strong and it is very easy to install. I have an iphone 14 pro and use a magsafe case. This holds my phone tightly (you can feel the phone snap into place) and it has never slipped off even on uneven roads. I highly recommend this phone holder! Thank you sunshade for a great product.

The matte finish is not at all slippery (a big issue with some cases), zero fingerprint issues, the speaker, mute and other button cut-outs are appropriately sized, the magnets are quite strong (wireless charging is solid and secure), and there is no exterior branding visible, a big plus for me.

I bought this case because the reviews said that the magnets were really strong. 100% certified these magnets are strong as hecc. The back looks bad when you scratch it, so don’t scratch it and keep using this case if you enjoy the MagSafe accessory ecosystem. There are definitely cases out there that look nicer, feel nicer in the hand, have nice textures, and fancy color gradients, but what this case has..is MAGNET
