The Sunshade works fantastic in my wife’s Avalon. The Sunshade is not too easy to hang in my Sierra pickup. But it does prevent sunlight from entering the windshield. Highly recommended.

I have to return mine cuz it does not cover the whole windshield. I'm still waiting for them to give me my refund. Unable to contact anyone.!!!! Nobody returned my EMAILS. Their 1800 number is not able to answer a call . I don't know if this company is still going. Be careful!!!!

Well the order took quite some time to get here, with a mix up at shipment and trying to get hold of someone. I finally received it almost a month after I ordered it....and while it does block the sun for the most part, I find it very irritating to put up...it doesn't fit my windshield, it leaves about 8 inches on each side and it's too tall, I have to bend it and fold down my visors to hold it in place... while it does help block out some sun and it's cooler in the vehicle, I will be finding a different one, probably one of the folding ones that are vehicle specific.

Don’t buy poorly made and doesn’t have irk in larger suv wit upright screen. Also they say it’s returnable but they won’t take back!

I got an email 9/6 saying my order was shipped but it had never been received. The tracking number still says that they’re “waiting for parcel”. I have emailed their customer service twice now and have yet to receive a reply or explanation. The payment was taken out on the 6th. So, I can only review what I’ve had happen so far. I’d love to get my order.

It works as advertised. My bill said delivery by UPS, but came by USPS. Disappointing.

It fits into my suv rav4 perfectly. It folds and unfolds smoothly with no issues and stays put right on the windshield on its own without the help of the velcro strap for me. The case it comes with is very nice and sleek as well. Then came the real heat test today. After being under 110 degree desert heat for 9 hrs, i just got into my car and it was significantly cooler than if i would not have had this! Very impressed. So its a total keeper. I love the concept of just easily folding and unfolding a sun shield like an umbrella to install on my windshield. It takes 3 seconds to pop on and your done so it's a total breeze when your going in for work. I used to waste valuable time fumbling with my other flimsy sun shades. I wish i had this sooner! I can now safely verify it works on every level:)

This is perfect!!! it's just what I needed, perfect size, super easy to use and the best part, takes up so little space when not using, it's soo easy to put away until needed. folded up, it's the size of the small compact umbrellas, it essentially is that but without the concave shape, it just opens flat to fit the windshield, although it does have a slight curve to assist going around the rear-view mirror. I have used it two days in a row and the temp difference in the car is UNBEILVEABLE!! I no longer burn my skin on the black leather seats, I SOOOOO LOVE IT!!! I want to get one for everyone I know because it's so easy and convenient to use. the best part is the small storage space required, you can literally store it anywhere in the car, glove compartment, door pockets, under the seat, center council, really anywhere and still be within arms reach. this is PERFECT and I absolutely LOVE it. I can't say enough good about it, it's the best thing I have gotten for my car in a LONG time!!!

I bought this sunshade and was not disappointed! It’s compact and easy to use! If you can get over your superstition about opening and umbrella indoors this is for you you! I have newer Hyundai Sonata and this fits great! I really love how it’s doslesnt take up much space but provides a great deal of protection in hot 100+ degree days! Also I worked with SunShade customer service and they pointed out a handle that is adjustable so it stays comfortably away from my touch screen! Would buy again!

As summer is around the corner, I was looking into a sun shade for my car(s). As soon as I received the product, I tried it in two cars in my family – Tesla Model Y 2021 and Acura MDX 2008. The product fits pretty well for both cars, but I think it works better for Tesla. Since Acura MDX is pretty wide, it seems to leave some gaps on the left edge and right edge, but still pretty good. For both cars, putting both sun visors down helped the situation, because otherwise it seems to leave some open gaps on the top. Pro tip: I've learned that there is a part in the stick where it can be bent, so you can try to find the best 'shape' of the stick depending on the structure of the dashboard in your car. Really well-thought-out and flexible design choice. The umbrella mechanism is brilliant because it's easy to open and fold and the stick can be used as a good support at the bottom. Highly recommend this sun shade for your car(s)!

I’ve never really worried about protecting the inside of my car from sun rays, but I recently purchased a new car and wanted to protect the inside for as long as possible. I’ve used a lot of Sun shade car products in the past and have always been extremely satisfied. This sunshade not only fits my car perfectly, but it does not interfere with the Eyesight cameras. The build quality is very good and I can see this lasting a very long time. SunShadeCar does it again!

I have a Kia Soul 2013 and the sun shade fit perfectly. The umbrella is more convenient and its does not occupy too much space its's very easy to fold and unfold. The thick material makes my car less hotter which none of the others products that I've used did that. Its a great investment

I like the idea of this style of sun shade. It has built-in structure to hold itself in place, and it folds into a compact package when it's not in use. The first umbrella-style shade I bought broke within a few months, so I bought this one as a replacement. I could immediately tell that this one had a better design and would be more durable. I enjoy the ease of access and the UV protection to keep my vehicle cool. Living in a desert makes my vehicle very hot! Thankfully, this sun shade does the job perfectly!

Easy to use, fits perfectly, stands in place and very easy to put away. I bought this wanting to reduce heating inside the car and it really help. With the car’s automatic climate control, it use to drain about 8-10% of battery after 8 hrs of work, after using this sunshade only 4% of battery gone.

It looks excellent on my Tesla model Y. It covers the whole windshield, and it doesn’t fall. That was a big problem with the last two sunshade I tried. This one does the job. And it’s easy just to fold it like an umbrella and voila it is out of the way. Highly recommend it.

Love this product!!! Performs exactly as described, even with temps outside the vehicle reaching 102 degrees! It also lessens the time it takes for the A/C to cool the interior. Will see how long the folding umbrella spines last as they are constructed of plastic rather than metal. Thus far, all good!

I've only had this for a couple of days but so far it's been great! I've never bought a sun shade just because I don't want to deal with finagling it in and out of my dash and folding it up, but this is super simple to use. I open it facing my passenger seat and then just gently slot it into place in my windshield. It doesn't seem like it would scratch my dash or my headliner but I'd still be cautious just in case.

It fits my 2021 Ford Explorer perfectly. It is SO easy to put up. Open it like an umbrella, and put it up. Unlike the old super bulky accordion style sunshades, this doesn't go behind the review mirror, at least in my car. I open it, slide the bottom part towards the front of the dash, then I put the visors over the shade on both sides. It covers my whole windshield and dash, protecting all of my leather. I love how it is compact to store. I put it in its storage case and then in my door storage and carry on with my day. Viloa!

I stumbled upon this design for a solar shade one day browsing around the internet. I instantly loved the design idea and had to have it. Turns out I do in fact love this design. It is better than a fold and twist shade because I never fold those properly and takes up less space than a single fold out panel version. The only downside is that in my humble opinion, you will never get this thing back into the case it comes in, but that does not matter to me. The elastic strap on it is really long so easy to wrap up and contain.

We have a 2021 Chevy equinox and this fits the windshield perfectly. Took a couple trys to get the hang of opening and closing it but now we can do it easily. Our vehicle has a slot in the driver side door for umbrella storage and this fits perfectly into it! We seriously love this thing. No more large, foldy sun shades that take up leg room in the back seat.

This is a great thing to have. It has been a lifesaver in the South East Texas summer. Seriously. it easily reflects the broiling sunlight in my vehicle and keeps me from 3rd degree burns from my steering wheel. Also, when my thermometer on my car tells me it is 104 degrees outside...the inside is only about 90 (Come on...it is August in the South...you expected me to say it was 70?) It is sturdy and well constructed. Also, it is easy to put up and take down. The only problem is if you have a passenger and they are leaning forward...they might get smacked with it as you are bringing it open...their fault though. They should not have been in your way!

I was compelled to buy this for some relief from the Texas summer heat/sun. My car's interior is black, so it gets incredibly hot during the summer. What drew me to this particular shade was how compact it can become. I'm not sure it keeps the car any cooler than other shades but the fact that it folds up to something that I can easily tuck under my seat sold me. To that end, it's incredibly easy to fold up and tucks away nicely. I plan to buy one for my wife next.....it's a great product and works wonderfully. Great product!

Got this to keep my interior cooler and protect the leather. I was worried I'd have trouble fitting it because my dash has a higher part in the middle, but it was pretty easy if you angle it correctly. Just open it like 1/4 of the way to get the bottom part situated on the dashboard and then tilt it up along with the windshield to open the rest of the way, and tuck it behind the mirror and visors. It's a pretty quick process once you get it. Only small complaint is I wish it was easier to get it back into the little bag/holder it comes with. It's a tight fit and you need to really strap it back up tight to get it in there. Overall really good for the price.

This windshield “umbrella “ is perfect. I have a small car.. so I was a little leery of it’s fitting properly. But just like the company that sells it said. You can bend it to fit most windshields. It works. And is so much easier folding it like an umbrella for storage in the back of the front seat.. before I had several different styles of window coverings but they got bent and broken and trampled on by the kids. This is just right.

I like the product and it does reduce the temperature inside your car. takes a couple attempts to set it up and wrap it tight enough to fit back in the pouch until you get used to the way it works but otherwise a great item

This windshield sun shade is easier to use than the ones you have to unfold. It opens like an umbrella and the extra large version covers my entire large windshield. It keeps the vehicle a lot cooler from the extreme Florida heat and protects my interior from the harmful sun. In its closed position it is small enough to fit between the drivers seat and the passenger seat.

This sun shade is very convenient and really keeps my car from getting so hot while parked out in the sun. My car is kept in a garage, but this shade is perfect when I have to go into a store. My car's dashboard is black and without the shade, it gets extremely hot. We use only these types of umbrella shades. So easy to put up, take down, and store. There is a HUGE difference in car temperature when we forget to put it up. Without it out car is unbearable as we live in Florida. I like this most because it is so much easier to use than other sun shades and take up very little space.

I never write reviews but this time is an exception. I have a 350 Lexus SUV and the fold up windshield shade never fit it properly. I saw this and read the reviews hoping someone had my type of car with the large viewing screen, I didn't see one but thought I would buy it since it was not expensive and had such great reviews. So glad I got it - it fits very well and so easy to put in my windshield.

It is as easy as opening an umbrella. I could have gotten a smaller size but it works great just the same. the handle rests on my gear shift so it doesn't move. I don't even have to lower my visors to keep it in place. great purchase

I was curious, as I’m in & out of my car all day in the hot California sun-& ordered one. Love it! It fits my windshield nicely & with a twist of the Velcro wrap, short extension of the shade it sits perfectly on top of the transmission shifter! Done! Then a simple retract & wrap the Velcro strap around it and it is small enough to fit close by for the next use. Happy purchaser

Absolutely live this for my 2020 Honda Pilot. Covers the whole windshield and installs in seconds. Just put the 2 visors down and leave it in front of the rearview mirror. I thought it would be awkward unfolding and folding because it's so big but the trick is opening it up as you are sliding it in and starting to collapse it as you are taking it out. Stows well in the door.

m a creature of habit and I was so used to the silver fold up style windshield shades.. which we all know take up so much space, and are hard to fold up after time.. anyways i was so glad I swapped to this new umbrella style one. It’s MUCH faster to pop up there, it stays in place & taking down is a breeze … my favorite part is that my entire passenger seat isn’t storing my shade anymore. This is the best and easiest sun shield I’ve ever used and it fits my sedan sized windshield! Needing to twist and fold things up is way too difficult - this style of an umbrella makes things super easy. I would 100% recommend purchasing.

The description of this shade is clear and accurate. The shade, by its very nature, is not a very robust device. But, if treated with care when opening and closing, it works as described, and does a good job of taming the greenhouse effect in my Chevy Traverse. I would by it again!

I live in Texas and just bought a black car with black seats. I knew it would be hot but geeshhh! I got the umbrella car shield on my mom's recommendation. I never liked the old windshield cause they take time to put up and fall down, just annoying. So I bought this one and it is soooo easy and quick to put up. It reduces the heat in my car by an easy 20 degrees!! Worth every penny!!

I bought two if these. One for a 2015 Chrysler 200 and one for a 2013 Corolla. This fit perfect in each car. The cars were noticeably cooler. At first I was worried about the framing, but no issues at all with daily summer use. Great item and worth every penny.

It’s exactly what it looks like, a small umbrella sunshade. It’s very easy to install and remove and stores easily. It came with a small storage bag, but I think it’s easier to toss it in the glovebox or under the seat. Very pleased I bought this!

Loved how quick and easy it is to set up and also to put away. I bought the larger size for my 2017 Mustang and it's big enough so that it stays secure on by itself once fully opened. I don't even need to strap it to the mirror. It overlaps a little in the interior windshield but that's a good thing in my opinion. So far it's been a week of daily use and nothing has torn or broken so far. We'll see how long it actually lasts.

This is so much easier to use and store inside the car than the longer and wider window covers. Once you learn how to open it inside the car close to the windshield and secure it with the visors it will stay put. It does keep my car cool also. I am very pleased with it so far.

Takes a sec to get used to but this is the best there is. Living in Florida, the sun kills your dash and heats up the car to almost unbearable 6 mo out of the year. Thus has been a lifesaver. Bought 1 for my daughter as well.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I wanted something small but kept the heat out of my car at the same time. I love this product. It makes so much sense. I know that you can collapse the regular sunshades. I find I can't fold them down quickly and easily. This is no problem. It fold it and put it in the back map pocket. Why haven't we had this before.
