I purchased the Carson Tire Inflator and it did not have a socket to plug in the charging cable to charge the unit. Also the car and the motorcycle reads in bar and not psi. I reached out to Carson many many times to ask if I could change the bar to psi and about charging the unit. No response. I also asked about returning the unit and again no response. I reached out to my credit card company to stop payment. I would not recommend this unit or this company

This product is very easy to use. I tested it on a car tire that was at 26psi. I used the preset and let it run to 35psi. It took about 8 minutes but it did the job. Worked fine and was not hot to the touch. Presume it works harder at higher psi. If you are in a pinch and need to hurriedly increase psi on multiple tires, this is the product. But if you plan ahead, you can keep all under inflated tires at the correct factory settings. Great product and very happy.

The device does get warm if youíre having to fill greater than 10 psi however as I said you donít have to hold it in your hand. All you have to do is periodically charge it with the USB cord thatís included to make sure the battery will be ready when you need it, and then when you need it, plug it in and watch your psi fill.
